The Further Adventures of Faerie Peril is a
no-budget short film put together with a team of two, Nathan Thorin
and Max Michaels. Max Michaels took photos, and video. Nathan Thorin
wrote the prose, did drawings, and pulled in all the pieces to
animate in Flash. They both built the character puppets and
backdrops. It took six months to complete in spare times.
Within just a few months of completion it was being featured as
part of a puppet making workshop at the Jacksonville Museum of
Modern Art. It has since been shown at art shows, and several of
Jacksonville's Film Festivals. A sheer joy to produce it shows a
seemless integration between live video and flash animated art. |
